Here are the neighborhoods and subdivisions that are welcoming to visiting trick or treaters, are safe in the roads, give out the most candy. You’ll probably see the best decorations as well.

  1. Stonehaven Neighborhood in Carter Community: Killbridge Drive off Brakebill Road. It also includes Heumsdale Lane, Hawick Lane, Carowinds Lane.
  2. Gettysvue Neighborhood in West Knoxville: It also includes Linksvue Drive & Shadow Brook Drive.
  3. Island Home Neighborhood in South Knoxville: includes Island Home Blvd, Maplewood Drive, Hillsboro Heights, Fisher Place, and Spence Place.
  4. Summer Rose Neighborhood in Northeast Knoxville: Summer Rose Blvd off Murphy Rd and includes Tropicana Dr, Ivy Rose Dr, Magic Lantern Dr.
  5. North Hills Neighborhood in Northeast Knoxville: Off North Hills Blvd. Also includes North Park Blvd, Fountain Park Blvd, and Kenilworth Lane
  6. Holton Hills Neighborhood in East Knoxville: Holton Hills Rd off Chilhowee Dr. Also includes Green Valley Dr, Crestwood Dr, East Sunset Rd.
  7. Sterchi Hills Neighborhood in North Knoxville: Off Rifle Range Rd and includes Dry Gap Pike, Paxton Drive, Cardindale Drive, Jim Sterchi Rd, Dante Rd.
  8. Bennington & Farmington Subdivisions in West Knoxville: Colchester Ridge Road off Ebenezer Rd for Benington & Bishop Bridge off Ebenezer for Farmington. Just follow the crowds and get permission before parking is someone’s yard. Yes, I live in this area.
  9. Sequoyah Hills Neighborhood in West Knoxville: Cherokee Blvd off Kingston Pike and includes Scenic Drive, Kennesaw Ave, Sequoyah Ave, Oakhurst Drive.
  10. Cumberland Estates in Northwest Knoxville: Robindale Rd, Crestfield Rd, Deerfield Road, and Royalview Road.
